Consider the X3 50 for a maintained residential lawn with open stretches where a wider deck can reduce the number of passes. It is a useful fit when you prefer steering-wheel controls and want to combine everyday mowing with compatible optional yard-care attachments. Your lawn layout matters more than acreage alone.

23 HP Kawasaki V-Twin Power

The Kawasaki FR691V pairs an overhead-valve V-twin design with pressurized lubrication and cast-iron cylinder liners. Automatic compression release supports starting, and ignition-key electric start keeps operation familiar. The 23 HP* rating provides a step up from the X3 46's 21.5 HP without changing engine displacement: both are 726cc.

Three-Blade AeroForce Cutting System

Three blades work within the 50-inch, 11-gauge fabricated deck. Choose from 12 cutting-height settings and use the four gauge wheels as directed to help limit scalping. Electric PTO engagement puts blade control at a switch. Add the correct optional mulch kit or bagger to match how you handle clippings.

Smooth Pedal-Controlled Drive

Adjust travel speed with the foot pedal rather than selecting fixed gears. The K46 hydrostatic drive lets you ease your pace around landscaping and increase it where conditions allow. Cruise control adds convenience on suitable straight runs, while the steering wheel handles direction independently of your speed input.

X3 Comfort and Useful Standard Equipment

Adjust the cut-and-sew high-back seat to your preferred position and rest your arms between steering inputs. A soft-touch steering wheel, included hour meter and dual LED headlights round out the operator area. Front-end protection comes standard, and the X3 50 has larger front and rear tires than the X3 46.
