Returns & Cancellations

At OUTDOORICA, we are committed to providing top-quality outdoor sports goods and a seamless shopping experience. If you need to return a product, our straightforward policies ensure the process is as smooth as possible.

Most products can be returned as long as they are in new, unused condition with all original packaging, paperwork, and parts. Below is a guide to our return and cancellation policies.

Restocking Fees

  • In-Store Purchases: No restocking fees for returns if the product is in new and unused condition with all original packaging.
  • E-Commerce Purchases: A 25% restocking fee applies for returns where OUTDOORICA shipped the product to the customer. Return shipping costs also apply.
  • Note: Delivery fees from the original purchase are non-refundable.

Holiday Returns

We offer an extended return period for purchases made during the holiday season. Items purchased between November 15th and December 24th can be returned until January 15th of the following year, as long as they meet all other return conditions.


Partial Returns for Bundles

If you purchase a bundle or set, partial returns are allowed for individual items not required to be purchased together. Refunds will be calculated based on the value of the items returned.


In-Store Returns

  • In-store purchases must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
  • Bring the product to our physical location at 209 County Rd 156, Albany, MN 56307.
  • Ensure the item is in new and unused condition with all original packaging and include your receipt.
  • Returns must be made during regular business hours, and a team member will assist you. Please check our store hours.

E-Commerce Returns

To return products purchased online:

  1. Customers must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number within 30 days of receipt of the product.
  2. The returned product must be received back at OUTDOORICA within 45 days of receipt.
  3. Contact OUTDOORICA at help@outdoorica.com to request the RMA Number.
  4. Clearly write or affix the RMA Number to your package.
  5. Ship the item to the address provided in your return instructions. Unless the product is defective or OUTDOORICA made an error, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  6. Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days after receiving the returned item.

Non-Returnable Products

The following products and purchases are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, cancellation, or exchange, except where required by law or in the case of a verified manufacturer defect covered by the applicable warranty.

1. Ice Castle Fish Houses

All Ice Castle purchases are final sale. Deposits, down payments, and payments toward Ice Castle units are non-refundable. Cancellations after deposit or order placement may result in forfeiture of amounts paid.

2. Used, Installed, Damaged, or Customer-Assembled Products

Products are not returnable if they have been used, installed, mounted, damaged, altered, or otherwise put into service after purchase.

Products assembled by the customer, or by a third party on the customer’s behalf, are not returnable. This includes products sold unassembled, partially assembled, or in-box and later assembled after purchase.

3. Products Assembled by OUTDOORICA

Products assembled by OUTDOORICA and sold already assembled as part of OUTDOORICA’s normal course of business may be eligible for return, provided they meet all other return requirements.

OUTDOORICA assembly alone does not make a product non-returnable. However, the product must be unused, undamaged, unmodified, complete, and accompanied by proof of purchase and any required paperwork, parts, accessories, or components.

4. Custom, Special-Order, or Modified Products

Custom-patterned, custom-painted, customized, modified, or special-order products are final sale.

Products are also non-returnable if the customer requests OUTDOORICA to perform special modifications outside the manufacturer’s original specifications, instructions, design, or intended use. This includes custom alterations such as drilling, cutting, fabrication, wiring, mounting, painting, or other non-standard changes.

Once custom work, special-order processing, or special modification work has begun, the product and related labor charges are final sale and non-refundable.

5. Products Missing Required Materials

Products missing required paperwork, manuals, hardware, accessories, parts, or components are not eligible for return.

Original packaging may also be required unless the product was sold already assembled by OUTDOORICA and original packaging was not provided at the time of sale.

6. Clearance, Closeout, Display, Demo, or As-Is Items

Products marked as clearance, closeout, final sale, discontinued, discounted due to condition, display model, demo unit, or sold “as-is” are not returnable.

Defective Products

If a product appears to have a manufacturer defect, the customer must notify OUTDOORICA promptly and provide photos, documentation, and proof of purchase. Defective products may be handled through repair, replacement parts, replacement, store credit, or manufacturer warranty assistance, at OUTDOORICA’s discretion and subject to applicable manufacturer policies.

Business Discretion

OUTDOORICA reserves the right to refuse any return, refund, cancellation, or exchange that does not meet this policy or appears to involve misuse, damage, missing parts, customer assembly, unauthorized modifications, transportation damage, or abuse of the return process.


Return Shipping Fees

  • Customer Responsibility: For e-commerce purchases, customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or OUTDOORICA made an error.
  • Defective Items or Errors: Free return shipping labels will be provided, but approval from OUTDOORICA is required before initiating the return. Contact us at help@outdoorica.com for assistance.

Katapult Financed Orders

Orders placed using Katapult lease-to-own services through PayTomorrow are subject to OUTDOORICA Terms & Conditions as well as all standard return processes outlined in the OUTDOORICA Return & Cancellation Policy with the following provisions:

  • All products may be returned but must be in new and unused condition. Returns must include original packaging, paperwork, and parts in new and unused condition.
  • If Guaranteed Delivery was purchased, that item/service is considered "used" once all physical items have been successfully delivered or if a guaranteed delivery case has been opened.
  • All returns will be assessed a 20% restocking fee, plus original outgoing and return shipping expenses, as well as the cost of guaranteed delivery (if applicable).
  • Returns must be processed using OUTDOORICA’s shipping method(s) and supplied shipping labels.
  • The restocking fee, all shipping-related expenses, and guaranteed delivery costs (if applicable) must be paid upfront before OUTDOORICA will provide the return authorization.
  • Contact our Customer Service Department at help@outdoorica.com to begin the return process.

Additional Disclosures

  • Returned items must be in new and unused condition with all original components.
  • OUTDOORICA will not reimburse labor charges or installation fees.
  • Inspect products upon receipt and report any damage or errors within 48 hours.

Free Exchanges for Defective Items

Defective products can be exchanged for the same item at no additional cost, including shipping. Contact us to initiate an exchange, and we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
