X3 46 Buying Questions
What do I gain over the X2 46?
Both models offer a 46-inch cutting path. The X3 46 adds an 11-gauge fabricated deck, K46 transmission, electric blade engagement, armrests and a steel-tube bumper. The X2 46 lists a 12-gauge stamped deck, TL-200 transmission and manual blade engagement. The X3 is an equipment-and-comfort upgrade, not a wider-deck upgrade.
Is the X3 46 a steering-wheel zero-turn?
No. It is a steering-wheel lawn tractor with a 16-inch turning radius. Hydrostatic describes its transmission, not zero-turn steering. Compare a zero-turn separately when that steering arrangement is important to your mowing layout.
Will it fit through a 46-inch gate?
Do not assume so. The cutting-width label does not include every part of the mower. Measure the clear opening between posts, hinges and latches, then compare it with the complete mower in the configuration you plan to use. Allow practical clearance rather than planning an exact fit.
Does it include an hour meter?
