Ice Castle Lakeside Escape 8x17 RV Camper & Fish House: Hydraulic RV Comfort with Bunks, Recliners & Fireplace
The Ice Castle Lakeside Escape 8x17 RV Camper & Fish House packs a surprising amount of four-season comfort into a compact 8x17 layout. This configuration combines a single-axle hydraulic frame, 6 lighted fishing holes, Arctic insulation, 90-inch sidewalls, cedar interior, a raised bathroom with shower and toilet, full kitchen, 54-inch electric lift bed, two 30-inch bunks, two recliners, fireplace bay, A/C, and a 35,000 BTU furnace.
The Lakeside Escape is especially appealing for buyers who want RV amenities and comfortable lounge seating without moving into a much longer tandem-axle floor plan. The recliners and table create an inviting living area, while the lift bed and bunks add sleeping flexibility without permanently taking over the main floor.

- A/C, fireplace, 35K furnace, power awning, and exterior speakers for four-season use

How This Lakeside Escape Layout Works
Six-Hole Hydraulic Fishing Floor
Six lighted fishing holes give the Lakeside Escape strong fishability, while the single-axle hydraulic frame makes lowering and raising the house more convenient than a hand-crank setup.
Recliner-Focused Living Area
Two recliners and a 40-inch tabletop create a comfortable place to relax, eat, play cards, or watch TV without relying on long sofas for the main seating area.
Lift Bed + Bunks Save Floor Space
The 54-inch electric lift bed stores overhead behind upper cabinets, while two 30-inch bunks add dedicated sleeping surfaces without permanently taking over the main fishing floor.
Fireplace Bay Adds a Comfortable Focal Point
The 60-inch bay with fireplace and window creates a warm gathering area that works equally well for winter fishing trips and warmer-weather camping.
