Is the Millennium L224 Right for Your Hunt?

Choose the L224 when you want side-by-side seating and an open-air, tree-mounted hunting setup. Its double-width layout also makes sense for a solo hunter who prefers additional elbow room.

A Strong Fit For

Hunting partners who enjoy sharing the experience, hunters who prioritize seated comfort, and property owners planning a setup near established deer activity.

Check Your Space and Location

Compare the platform and seat measurements below with your preferred stance and clothing. This stand requires a suitable tree; it is not a freestanding tower or enclosed blind.

Why Choose the Millennium L224 Lite?
ComfortMAX Seating for Longer Sits

Millennium's patented ComfortMAX contoured tight-sling seat supports a relaxed seated position without relying on a thick foam cushion. The seating area measures 40 inches wide by 16.5 inches deep, giving two hunters a shared bench rather than separate narrow seats.

Double-Width Platform

The 39.75-inch-wide by 22-inch-deep platform gives the L224 its two-person footprint. Check both width and depth when comparing ladder stands so you can choose a layout that suits your stance and hunting style.

Adjustable Padded Shooting Rail and Gear Hooks

An adjustable padded shooting rail provides a rest you can position according to the manufacturer's instructions. Accessory hooks help keep small essentials organized and within reach instead of competing for space on the platform.

Powder-Coated Oval Steel Construction

The L224 uses an oval steel frame with a powder-coated finish. Supplied stabilizing straps and a tree brace are part of its installation system. Proper assembly, inspection, and storage remain essential throughout the stand's service life.

Before You Buy: Fit, Setup, and Safety

Treestand falls can cause serious injury or death. Read the complete manufacturer's manual and safety-equipment instructions before assembly, installation, or use.

  • Respect every weight limit. The stand's 500-lb rating includes both hunters and all equipment. Each hunter must also meet their harness's individual limits.
  • Check the tree. The manual specifies a straight, healthy tree measuring 12–20 inches in diameter at seat height, with firm, level ground beneath the ladder.
  • Plan for help. Millennium requires at least three adults for installation or removal.
  • Stay protected. Each hunter must use a properly fitted full-body fall-arrest system and remain connected to the tree while off the ground.
  • Inspect before every use. Check the stand, fasteners, straps, rope, and harnesses. Replace damaged or expired components as directed by the manufacturer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the L224 as a solo hunting stand?

Yes. A solo hunter can use the double-width layout for additional seating room. All installation, fall-protection, and equipment weight limits still apply.

What makes ComfortMAX different from a padded bench?

ComfortMAX uses a contoured, tensioned sling to support the hunter rather than a thick foam seat cushion. Millennium describes the seat fabric as nonstretch and non-water-absorbing.

Does this stand provide weather protection?

No. The L224 is an open-air ladder stand, not an enclosed hunting blind. Plan clothing accordingly and follow the manufacturer's weather-related restrictions.
