HUSKY DEN XL • MINNESOTA MADE • 6x10 • ICE FISHING + SPEARING
Husky Den XL by OUTDOORICA 6x10 Pine Interior Ice & Spear Fishing House

Want the simple, practical design of the Husky Den with more room to spread out? The Minnesota-made Husky Den XL by OUTDOORICA expands the original 6x8 concept to a 6-foot-wide x 10-foot-long ice house, adding two valuable feet of interior length while keeping the same fishing-first philosophy.

That additional length creates more space for chairs, fishing electronics, tackle, heater placement, storage, coolers, batteries, and another angler without moving into a large RV-style wheelhouse. For fishermen who want a light, straightforward house but appreciate a little extra room, the Husky Den XL hits a very useful middle ground.

Much of the important interior work is already completed, including a pine-finished interior, vinyl wood-look flooring, interior lighting, fan, power outlet, and spray-foam insulation throughout the walls, ceiling, and floor. The fishing floor includes two individual fishing holes plus a dedicated 2' x 4' spear hole.

Same Practical Husky Den. Two More Feet of Room. The XL gives you a full 10-foot interior without filling the house with permanent furniture, oversized appliances, or complicated RV systems. Add what improves the way you fish and keep the rest clean and open.

Why Step Up to the Husky Den XL?

The standard Husky Den is a compact 6x8. The Husky Den XL stretches the same concept to 6x10, giving you two additional feet of interior length and approximately 25% more floor length to work with.

More Room for Fishing Gear

The longer floor gives you more space for tackle boxes, rods, sonar, underwater cameras, batteries, chargers, coolers, and other gear without crowding your primary fishing area.

More Seating Flexibility

Two additional feet create more options for portable chairs, benches, or another seating position while maintaining access to the fishing and spear holes.

Better Heater Placement Options

Because the heater is not predetermined, the longer interior gives you additional flexibility when selecting a heater location and arranging the space around it.

Still Only 6 Feet Wide

The XL keeps the same compact 6-foot width as the standard Husky Den. You gain valuable front-to-back space without turning the house into a large wheelhouse.

More Room Without the Bulk of a Big Wheelhouse

The Husky Den XL is designed for anglers who want a light, compact, practical ice fishing house but would appreciate more interior room than an ultra-compact shack provides.

Great for Early-Season Anglers

For anglers who like getting onto the ice earlier in the season, the compact Husky Den XL offers a practical alternative to bringing a much larger RV-style wheelhouse onto the lake once local ice conditions are safe for use.

Simple Hand-Crank Frame

The steel painted hand-crank frame provides straightforward raising and lowering without adding the complexity of hydraulic components.

Clean, Practical Layout

No oversized kitchen. No bathroom. No permanent sofa taking over the floor. No complicated RV systems. The Husky Den XL keeps valuable interior room focused on fishing, spearing, gear, and the equipment you actually use.

Less Stuff. More Fishing.

Choose your own heater, chairs, sonar, underwater camera, storage, and accessories rather than paying for permanent features that may not match the way you fish.

Built for Ice Fishing & Darkhouse Spearing

The Husky Den XL keeps the floor focused on what matters most: fishing, spearing, electronics, gear, and room to move.

Two Individual Fishing Holes

Two separate fishing holes provide dedicated positions for jigging, a second angler, sonar, or other ice-fishing electronics.

Dedicated 2' x 4' Spear Hole

The large rectangular opening gives darkhouse spear fishermen a purpose-built working area instead of trying to adapt a conventional round fishing hole.

Removable Hole Covers

Plastic removable covers allow the fishing holes and spear opening to be closed when they are not being used.

Minnesota-Built Construction
Spray-Foam Insulated

The walls, ceiling, and floor are spray foamed to create an insulated shell for cold-weather ice fishing.

Lumber-Built Structure

Traditional lumber construction forms the primary structure beneath the finished interior and exterior.

Aluminum Exterior

Aluminum exterior siding is paired with diamond plate along the lower exterior for added protection and a finished ice-house appearance.

Insulated Lockable Door

A lockable insulated aluminum-framed entry door provides secure access to the finished interior.

Sliding Side Window

A sliding side window brings natural light into the house and provides another ventilation option when conditions allow.

Heater Ready & Basic Electrical Included

The Husky Den XL gives you useful electrical basics while leaving you free to choose the heating and expanded power setup that fits your fishing style.

Choose Your Preferred Heater

The Husky Den XL is heater ready, with no heater currently installed, allowing you to select the heating solution that makes the most sense for your intended use.

Interior Lighting

Interior lighting is already installed and controlled by a wall switch.

Fan + Power Outlet

An interior fan and one power outlet provide useful basic functionality inside the house.

Generator Power Inlet

An exterior power inlet provides a connection point for generator-powered use.

Put the Extra Two Feet to Work

With the insulated shell, pine finish, flooring, lighting, and basic power already completed, the XL lets you use its additional length for whatever improves your time on the ice.

Add Seating Use the additional length for portable chairs, a bench, or another seating arrangement.
Choose Your Heater Select and position the heating solution that works best for your winter fishing needs.
Add Electronics Create space for sonar, underwater cameras, batteries, chargers, and other electronics.
Add Storage Use the longer interior for tackle storage, shelving, rod holders, coolers, or other gear.
