Is the X2 42 a zero-turn mower?
No. It is a steering-wheel lawn tractor with a 16-inch turning radius. Hydrostatic describes its drive system, not zero-turn steering. Choose it for tractor-style controls rather than the ability to turn within its own footprint.
How does it compare with the X1 30 H?
The X2 42 has a 42-inch deck and a 547cc Cub Cadet engine; the X1 30 H has a 30-inch deck and a 344cc Briggs & Stratton engine. Both use hydrostatic drive. The X2 cuts a wider path, while the X1 is designed around compact access and storage. Compare your space and controls before choosing.
